Eddie Lai

Eddie was raised in a Christian household in New Jersey. He became a believer at a young age, but his faith grew significantly while attending college. In college, Eddie grew a heart to serve the Lord and His people, recognizing that God is sovereign and can use any opportunity big or small to build His kingdom. Once he moved to Atlanta in 2019 to work in hospital operations, Eddie started attending Journey Church, already having known about it from the Acts Ministries International community of churches.
Eddie attended college in Philadelphia, PA, and after a gap year of working at a high school, he moved to Boston, MA to complete a Master of Public Health. He currently works in Economic Development, focusing on Life Sciences and Healthcare business growth in the Atlanta area. When he's not welcoming people on Sundays or at Family Group gatherings, Eddie can be found exploring Atlanta, building a non-profit, or cheering on his hometown Philly 76ers.
