Grace Shin
Administrative Intern
Grace was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago until she came down to Atlanta to attend Emory University. Though she grew up going to church, she came to more fully accept Christ during her time at Journey through the welcoming, tight-knit community she found here. As Grace began serving in the college ministry as a Family Group host, she discovered her heart for discipleship and serving the church, which is what spurred her to pursue an internship at Journey.
Grace graduated from Emory in May 2022 with degrees in English and East Asian Studies. She hopes to continue studying East Asian Studies by attending graduate school. Grace’s own undergraduate experience at Emory and Journey, in hand with her interest in teaching and research, is what inspires her to become a professor that will help lead future college students closer to Christ.
